The young and awarded Spanish researcher Luz Rello, a dyslexic herself, shares with the audience her advanced discoveries about this disability and some technological solutions that she has helped design and that are already used successfully by thousands of children worldwide. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. This paper starts from a reflection, and a further adjustment for special needs, on Balboni’s model for didactic action. In this way, it stands out the importance of the identification of the causes and consequences of deficits or difficulties of the student. This will help to identify the most appropriate teaching actions to reduce/surround/prevent barriers to language teaching. This will allow the teacher to identify not only the most suitable techniques for language teaching but also the most appropriate it systems to achieve the objective. In the second part of the paper, it is proposed a practical example, based on dyslexia, for the teaching/learning of prepositions with verbs of motion in Spanish. Moduli e i materiali vengono messi a disposizione per sviluppare strategie e tecniche adatte all'insegnamento verso ragazzi dislessici e/o con background multilingue attraverso un percorso di formazione su dislessia e multilinguismo, rivolto ad insegnanti di lingue, ma anche a logopedisti ed ad altri specialisti nell’abito dell’educazione.
