Why it's So Hard for Users to Control Their Data
Althouh today there is much more concern towards the issue of online data protection, most users continue to have a naive attitude. As a matter of fact, data governance represents a daunting challenge. What would be needed is a system that defines and grants users "digital agency"-the ability to own the rights to their personal data, manage access to this data and, potentially be compensated fairly for such access.
