Description

Within a more and more globalized society, a frequent query is what happens to our data once they are submitted to an institution. What are they used for? Do we still have ownership on them? We wll thus analyze the set of processes that take place when data are acquired by an institution, narrowing the filed to the Educational System (especially schools and universities) in order to raise awareness on the improrance of data and the reason why they are considered so valuable and useful . To conclude, we will analyze pros and cons of the matter, especially in contrast with the past decades before the advent of computers when data used to be collected and stored in paper and did not have the same resonance as today.
