The use of spatial information systems for the management, analysis and publishing of information on cultural property is having a fair international success. The reasons can be summarized in four aspects: relevance of the space component in the information on cultural heritage, accessibility to GIS technology is an interest that is growing in the world of cultural heritage for the participation. The funding agencies, both public and private, are increasing the urgency about publishing the search results.
