GIS applications with the highest potential to spread are those close to the production and use of digital mapping, such as monitoring and territorial mapping, urban planning and management, the environment and cultural heritage. Geographic data "liberated" by the PA, in fact, are at the heart of the development of the territories from a perspective of smart city for the benefit of sustainable mobility, security and services to citizens and businesses.
