Youtube is structured in channels and sub-channels, but the hierarchy is not clear.

Can search by channel or by text + filters; the latter mode seems more powerful; cannot mix the 2 modes.

Metadata that can be used as filters include:

• cc = video has captions
• creativecommons = has CC license.

As to the Terms of Use, only Creative Commons can be used as a filter. Sometimes "CC" license is mentioned in the description text but not in metadata.

Popularity is represented by # of views.
