Critical thinking is one of the areas of soft skills most relevant to the Up2U project.

Inspired by Francesco Piro's book "Manuale di educazione al pensiero critico - Comprendere e argomentare" (*), we wrote a series of notes on this subject as a trace for a learning path that was then developed by Vindice Deplano and Judith Scoltock (Pragma srl) as SCORM objects, with Storyline technology. Said learning path, to be used inside the Up2U project Pilots, is accessible on CommonSpaces at the link Educazione al pensiero critico - Un'introduzione.

While waiting for the above learning path to be available also on the Moodle platform and in different languages, we are publishing the original notes and their English translation (and adaptation) as two raw learning paths that can be improved and extended with greater flexibility. 

This is the English version, while the original version in Italian is accessible on CommonSpaces at this link: Sviluppare capacità di pensiero critico.
Each learning unit, that is each "node" of this learning path, is displayed as a web page when it is navigated with the Play control (the player arrow icon under the title); but you can also download its Word version from the view of the OER the node refers to.
